Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you all. What a difficult, truth-telling, authentic and vulnerable conversation you four shared. You continue to bless me as you share, teach, exhort, and challenge us to live and fight (in a loving way) for the democracy of our nation and the Kingdom of God. There is no higher charge than to live and love like Jesus. Thanks for always putting the truth of the Gospel above all of the politics and history in such away that you invite action, humility, and loving-kindness. Very grateful for your courageous and sacrificial voices.

Thank you, Drs. TCU; your insights & courage greatly help I note your points about Andrew Johnson pardoning the Confederates & the U.S. South winning the narrative war; the economic agenda; & religious leaders' pressure to losing funding & support.. May we be brave & shine bright for the common good of people.

(I read more on Andrew Johnson in https://eji.org/report/reconstruction-in-america/the-danger-of-freedom/sidebar/the-impeachment-of-andrew-johnson/ (from the EJI Report, "Reconstruction in America"))

With the concerns re cost of eggs, I found my egg substitutions for baking.

Substitute Chia Seeds for Egg

• good for baked oatmeal

• to substitute for 1 egg, combine

o 1 tablespoon chia seeds

o 3 tablespoons water

• let gel for about 15 minutes before use

Substitute Flax Meal for Egg

• to substitute for 1 egg, combine

o one tablespoon of ground flax seeds

o three tablespoons of water

Substitute Unsweetened Applesauce for Egg

• 1/4 cup of applesauce for 1 egg

Substitute Banana for Egg

• better for recipes for baked goods (ie: oatmeal cookies, bread pudding, quick breads) suitable for the banana flavor & that either contain leavening or don’t need to rise

• ¼ cup mashed bananas (extra ripe is best) for 1 egg

Substitute Egg Whites for Whole Egg

• good for cookie or quick bread recipes

• ratio: 2 egg whites for 1 whole egg
