To use Churchillian terminology, hopefully you're moving from 'ebb tide' to the 'turning of the tide' in relation to saving historic American democracy and the 'Great Experiment' to quote your first president, George Washington. Kristin, good work in organizing the 3rd May 'Free to Be Faithful' gathering with the Toronto-based Institute for Christian Studies ... may it help to restore in a little way the historic 'undefended border' of last 100 plus years running between Canada and the United States!
It's very disheartening to live in the information ecosystem in the US. A full 35% of the populace may never understand the truth about Donald Trump, and is increasingly suspicious of the motives of anti-Trumpers. It is now to the point that if citizens were put in jail for being anti-Trump, these 35% would assume that the person had done something wrong, and deserved their imprisonment, and another 20-30% would be confused by the loud voices of the 35% and not at all inclined to defend those wrongly in jail. It's pitiful to say, but if Trump fails it will likely just be because of high prices.
