I really enjoyed this video, so much so that I watched it twice. I know you're all exhausted and emotions are all over the place. We support you in spirit and thank you with my whole heart for doing the hard work. It is so appreciated.

These are amazing comments. Robby those numbers you reported are SHOCKING!!! I was formed by the Scripture in the 1950's and am mystified at the attitudes people, who call themselves Christians, carry. They may be reading the Bible, but it's not making a difference! The truly amazing thing about the U.S. is ALL the cultures. God created AND LOVES each individual, each group. The supposed Christians that have weaponized Jesus Gospel and preach and scream hate at others prove how deceptive evil is. Diana "my mother's fighting Facism". is not a sentence I EVER thought I would hear or have to face. That shocked too.

Will we be brave? "Republican" office holders are not. Will I complain about them or knock on doors and get into difficult conversations.

I saw you at Theology Beer Camp and again, watching the Faith and Democracy Tour video from Tempe, AZ. I find your information interesting, a bit sad, although I think many people want certainty…not the stuff I have, which is Mystery. Just out of curiosity, you mention “white evangelicals” and “white Catholics” in your findings. Do you have any statistics at all from Anabaptists? I know, we’re pretty nominal in the U.S. society, but we are here and I’m interested to know how they align. I do believe that those churches that pulled away from Mennonite U.S.A. and became some other entity which I can never remember, may well identify with the “white evangelicals” . However, those of us who identify as “progressive” (I don’t like this word) would most likely not identify with them. However, there are other Anabaptist groups besides us. I was alarmed that the Amish in Pennsylvania voted for Trump in 2016 (don’t know about 2020), but, again, there are others. If you ever run any statistics including them, I would be interested in knowing how we shake out. Personally? I identify with Gary Dorrien as a Liberationist and, as I look back on my life (I’m 80), this is what I have heard from my faith community most all of my life, especially in my early years. Anyway, good work and thanks for telling your story.
