Your faith-filled approach to analyzing our religious and political landscape is invaluable to my sanity, my faith, and the community writ large.
I know you all have more than full time work but if there is any way to keep this going, even in a reduced fashion, I/we will be eternally grateful and we promise to advocate for big fat jewels in your respective crowns of glory❤️
Thank you all for what you do. Having a historical and sociological framework for what is going on is great. Having it come from grace filled Christians is even more important. We live in a time where many people see all Christians as authoritarians (cannot blame them). Just read Substack threads and your heart sinks. What you do is a clear witness that many of us will not accept what is going on because we follow Christ. Truth matters. Faith matters. We need more spokespeople like the four of you. God bless your shared discernment.
Whatever you decide, we'll all still be here. Where else can I get my non-biased news from! I keep thanking you, but I do it again, you all of you for all your hard work and your candor and honesty. Yesterday was the best and gave me a few much needed chuckles. Thanks Robbie.
As a Christian who is feeling a bit like an orphan in these hard days, it has been such a comfort to know that there are thoughtful, thinking Christians like the four of you. I have only been aware of these videos for the last three broadcasts, and they have helped me so much. Have a wonderful retreat and I hope you return to do more of these together, if that is what you feel led to do. I thank God for the work you are all doing.
I highly value the wisdom, energy, and perspectives of the group. The rapport of the four of you is a great model for conversations about difficult topics and the power of respectful listening. Thank you all. May you be guided and sustained by the Holy Spirit during your retreat.
I can't always catch the live broadcasts, but I always look forward to watching when It's posted. I value the convocation unscripted because it does tie my faith to what is happening in this country. I appreciate all of the honest opinions and perspectives given. I feel each of you are to be applauded for continuing to offer your views on what is happening knowing that so many are being threatened.
I look forward to The Convocation Unscripted as I feel rhe four of you are the ones we can trust during this administration to give us the facts. Please continue to help all of us survive these times.
Hi Guys. I have enjoyed the Convocation Unscripted, and find your work as a group and as individuals valuable and informative - especially as someone from the other side of the.Pond. Thank you for all you are doing. As for the future, I hope you continue - but I realise the extra pressure this will give you. Whatever you do long term, God bless - but I do hope the Convocation keeps going.
I look forward to listening to the Convocation it has so much value and perspectives from all 4 of you. It has helped me to better understand the times we are in and how to contribute my thoughts with others who are not fully engaged in what is happening around us. Thank you for all you do 💯
Well I'm biased but I hope you all stick around! Not too many like-minded folks here in ruby red WV so I really enjoy my online folks... But thanks for being out there these last 100 days! Hope your little retreat is refreshing!
I have come to depend on your weekly podcasts (so when I was reminded you only committed to weekly recordings for 1st 100 days I was like "NOOOO, don't leave us!!!" ;) As a therapist who works daily with people who are distressed and impacted, I have been recommending it to others. I recently started a 20 day Mental Health as Resistance Challenge on my social media and on Day 5 recommended you. Thank you! I hope you will continue in some consistent fashion as we need collectives voices of expertise like yours! So appreciate, admire and respect each of you!
You are the 4 professionals I feel I’ve gotten to know and learned the most from on social media. My heart goes out to all of you over the important work you do, your incredibly keen minds and proficient teaching ability. I don’t take for granted that you spare and share your precious time with us. I would be thrilled if you could continue to stay together and continue to teach in some fashion. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for the gift of The Convocation Unscripted. It has helped me stay sane during the last many months of chaos. So many friends who are unhappy with the present state of our world do not understand the religious component of this. Having bought in to deception by religious leaders in my own past, I understand how difficult it is to change those perceptions and craft a faith of love and compassion and freedom--rather than rules and judgment and bondage.
I have referred many people to your writings and podcasts as well as to authors you have recommended. While I hope you will continue to offer these sessions, I know you may each/all be called to other work. Please know that I will pray specifically for your retreat time and for discernment on your work "for such a time as this." Blessings to you and yours--and to all who have joined in this work with you.
I love the Convocation Unscripted! It has really helped me think things through on a deeper level. Thank you for doing it!
That said, you all appear to have much more than full time work already, so I would encourage you to spend some time at your retreat to consider how doing it feels to you - if it feels nourishing (and fun!) to do this together, and you gather strength from one another, then continue. But if it feels like an additional burden that is draining you, then let it go.
First, thank you all so much!

I really look forward to watching your conversations. I hope you can continue them, even if not as frequently.
