Thanks so much for addressing the actual problem! Senator Warren, on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, said that the Republicans don’t make eye contact with her. They know what’s happening is awful. But I agree with all of you - they have a duty to act. That they aren’t is despicable.

This moved me beyond words and lightening my heavy heart because you conveyed the Jesus I know. Thank you. My heart is tuned for the sorrow of the crucifixion. The hubris of Empire brings the nemesis of the women at the empty tomb. Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again.
This was an exceptional Convocation video. Putting the Season of Lent and Passover together with a discussion of the politics of the unlawful disappearance and court-ordered return to the U.S. of Kilmer Abrego Garcia was fascinating. The overlapping themes of the current political era of Trump’s attacks on the Rule of Law compared with the Christian values of the Last Supper, Crucifixion of Jesus, and his Resurrection kept my full attention. So glad you all are asserting the need to find ways to fight for our democracy.
